Sales open for 2026

Sales are now open for 2026. This year we are able to take badges, parking and lunches all on the member / waiting list shops. While placing your order you'll be invited to add information (e.g. name of consort for consort badges, phone number for badges for under 8s, seating preferences and dietary requirements for lunch).

Members are encouraged to order early. Please see the Regatta page for details.

Dates for diary and other notes:

Before the Regatta:

Qualifiers Friday 26th June: As ever Remenham Club is open to Members and their guests (no dress code requirements) to enjoy the qualifiers racing.
AGM: The Club is also open Sunday 28th June for the AGM at 11:45 (Regatta dress code) followed by the Club party from noon. The bar is also staffed on Saturday 27th and Monday 29th June for those who would like to visit (no dress code requirements).

During the Regatta:

Cafe: Our caterers Greens will host a cafe integrated into the lunch marquee and will offer lighter food such as morning teas and coffee, pastries and breakfast rolls followed by salad boxes and smashed burgers on brioche buns for lunch and ice cream. The only food still on the Upstream Lawn will be "pizza please".
Outside bar: This will be situated on the Upstream Lawn to improve speed of service.
Additional seating: Between the treasurer's box and the clubhouse there will be a covered seating space for members and their guests to augment the capacity of the main club house, away from the noise of the racing and tannoy of the mound for those who would prefer this.
DJ: Once again Remenham Club will host a DJ on Friday and Saturday. Half price guest badges are available for the evening only for members to buy for their guests (on sale between end of racing and 9pm on the day).
Finals Day: As always children are most welcome for Sunday 6th July (under 8s free) and face painting and balloon artists will be on hand to entertain them free of charge.

Annual Dinner 2026

Dinner on sale now

Booking for the Remenham Annual Dinner is now open. The dinner will be held at Thames Rowing Club on Saturday 18 April (7pm for 7:30pm). We are delighted that Annamarie Phelps CBE, World Rowing Vice-President, will be our guest speaker.

Tickets are £75pp, including half a bottle of wine with dinner and a welcome drink, and can be purchased here: https://www.thamesrc.co.uk/trc-social-events/remenham-club-annual-dinner . If you are booking for yourself and guests, please note that you will be required to submit menu choices and dietary requirements for the whole party on booking.

Membership fees

Membership fees are due now as every year, for some reason members who had a direct debit setup prior to 2020 have not been processed, more modern ones via the Gocardless system have been. The membership secretary is investigating and all members have received an email on the matter.

Arrangements for 2024

The Committee has updated the Card of Arrangements for this year containing all the essential information for Regatta week. A simplified Do's and Don'ts card is provided for Members and their Guests. Members are reminded to check the dress code and make sure their guests are aware.

Members' metal badges and a hard copy of the Card of Arrangements will be posted out in the coming week.

Lunch, badge and parking sales are now open online for members and those on the waiting list .

The committee looks forward to seeing you on the Remenham Club lawn in the summer.

This year it is the turn of London RC to host the Annual Dinner. The event details are as follows:

Arrive 7pm for 7.30pm, carriages at 11.30pm

Menu:

Starter

Chicken liver parfait with melba toast and chilli jam

Roasted butternut squash, baby spinach, watercress and feta salad

Main

Slow cooked beef with red wine, pancetta, field mushrooms, served with mash and crispy kale

Puy lentil, tomato, pecan and roasted mushroom ragu with brown rice

Pudding

Sticky toffee pudding (vegan option with vegetarian menu)

Dress: Black Tie or Club Blazer

Remenham Challenge 2023

Saturday 9th December we were able to run Remenham Challenge albeit we weren't able to accommodate Development crews this year due to the conditions. In total 71 crews raced. Results are available here .

Thanks to everyone who took part and crucially to all those who volunteered (especially the Organising Committee ) and made the race today possible. The results are here , congratulations to the event winners and to both Molesey and Thames who tied for the Victor Ludorum with equal points, equal wins and equal champ wins. Both clubs therefore share the Jonty Steel Trophy (points and images of top Champ Open and Women's crews - credits Mark Ruscoe ).

Remenham Committee Changes

At the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 26th June a number of changes to the committee of management and Vice-Presidents of the club were made. The changes are set out below.

P Baldwin (VRC) is appointed Hon Treasurer replacing D Shove (TRC)
P Francis (KRC), C Harvey (TRC), S Molloy (KRC), J Osborne (VRC) were all appointed Vice-Presidents
C H E Fox (TwRC) and R Welch (VRC) are appointed Emeritus Vice-Presidents

AGM minutes will follow in due course and will be shared with all members.

Regatta 2022 Refreshments

Lunch bookings for all days are now CLOSED. All who have booked should have confirmation of their bookings.

In addition this year on the upstream lawn it will be possible to buy pizza from Pizza Please , a local mobile vendor who cooks pizza to order in a converted horse box.

Tea and coffee will also be available from the upstream lawn from Clarks caterers who will also provide afternoon tea. On Friday and Saturday they will also provide a bbq service in the evening as they have done in previous years.

Results for Sunday's Remenham Challenge are available here . Congratulations to Thames RC who won the Jonty Steel Ludorum Trophy, kindly provided by the Past President and presented this year for the first time. Thanks are due to Clare Harvey and her Race Committee and all who enabled the event to happen by volunteering.

Remenham Challenge 2021

The Remenham Challenge 2021 will take place at 10am on Sunday 12th December between Chiswick Steps and Vesta Flag Pole. Details are available on the event page , the instructions to competitors is here , the race draw is here .
